Suicide? Not a bail out!

The spate of suicide reports in this present age has propelled me to put up this piece with the hope that it will go a long way to avert many of such intents. Let me start by assuring you that life is never greener on the other side as it appears. God created us all with uniqueness and corresponding challenges only for the purpose of keeping us abreast of his existence and greatness (my thought). Please be informed that there is always a two sides of the coin as pertain to life which means that there is a beautiful and ugly side of life. Death by suicide does not put an end to the misery we feel rather it is an action one takes into the unimaginable world of continuous regrets, suffering and much pains without end.  Suicide should never be an option for any human since it can only be perceived as a cowardice approach to the ills of life that our subconscious being could not subdue. Life is not always as its happening presents it to be and please know that there is always a beautiful tomorrow behind the tunnel of yesterday no matter the circumstance. Suicide is never a bail out as it can never change ones perceived circumstances but rather it will stripe you off life’s most valuable essence which are our earthly triumphs and eternal rest. Every soul on earth has got down moments but its only courage that sets us apart from those who decides to remain down and also from those who finally bows down to death by suicide. There is so much in us to become than the fear that breaks us eventually and no matter how unheard of your travails are, the truth is that you are still better than someone out there and also never you base your decisions on the supposed successful people you see or hear about as most times their secret tears outruns yours. I strongly believe that the major reason why suicide is on the increase is because we have come to have wrong perceptions of emotional related part of life, feelings like happiness, satisfaction, love (being loved and loving others) and fulfillment has been redefined by this generation and when not properly managed leaves us empty and further drives us to drastic evil actions and decisions that we tend the regret for the rest of our lives and even eternity.

Find below the three T’s that avert suicide intention if adhered to;
·         Take it to God- This is the first solution to any challenge as it helps us to relinquish our circumstances to the higher source that is more than able to sought us out of any mess/problems if only we can trust him completely.

·         Talk about it- Do not be secretive about your problems as this is a major door way that ushers in suicide thoughts to our minds. Find someone you can share it with, it can be someone that you know or otherwise but make sure you do not keep it to yourself as you never can know who the solution to that problem is.

·         Trash the thought - This part has to do with your inner man, as you need to be convinced of whom you are and what God says you are to be able to trash the thought whenever it surfaces. Let me put it straight that this certainty can only come from the in-depth knowledge of God’s everlasting love for you, so start up a relationship with him if have not and if you have please keep holding on no matter the challenge.
Be of good cheer!
